Water Meter Replacements
The Village of Middlefield is in the process of replacing residential and commercial water meters north of route 87. Scheduling is to begin the week of March 10th.
Our staff will be focusing on replacing meters at properties located north of route 87.
You may receive a call or email from our staff members trying to schedule an appointment to change your water meter.
This process should take about 45 minutes and your water will need to be shut off during the installation.
If you had your water meter replaced within the last 6 months our staff will need to upgrade the communication radio. The radio upgrade will take about 15 minutes. Your water will not need to be shut off during this process.
During the week of March 10, our staff may knock on your door to asking to replace the communication radio.
